Basic vegetables:  cauliflower, 2 hands( just the “flowers”), 7-8 tiny mushrooms, parsley, dill, turmeric, coriander and a handful of nuts( you can do without them for a version of salad that contains less for), salt, pepper, garlic powder, 2 tablespoons of olive oil.

How to prepare it: 20 seconds in the blender. I have combined all flavors and spices, still looking for new versions, so everyone is free to experiment to vary flavors and quit banality.

This mix is tasty and nutritious, but it also is a good option for lunch with a salad and a pickle.

-The leek food is one of my favorites. There are two ways in which you can eat it, cooked and raw.

The advantage of raw is that it is ready in 20 minutes. Also, it has some advantages: it looks better, it has more vivid color, consistency is more enjoyable, being raw. Vitamins and enzymes are all in their place.

How to prepare it: super simple, it isn’t a challenge even for a beginner. Wash, chop and marinate. Marinate sauce is olive oil, 2-3 tablespoons of lemon, dill, olives, salt and a slice of lemon for the color. Depending on how tall is the leek, I usually use half or a quarter, that’s because I will no longer keep it in the fridge for next time. I prefer to cook for the moment, it is tastier this way.

Eat more yogurt!

Yogurt is a complete food. Analgesics: are those pills that we call most frequently and are designed to relieve pain, in case of headaches, toothaches, sore muscles or joints. These drugs, which includes active substances like ibuprofen, paracetamol and aspirin reduce inflammation, pain and fever by acting on prostaglandins – chemicals in the body that are responsible for these symptoms.

The downside is that prostaglandins have a beneficial role in the body that protects the stomach lining from the effects of gastric acid, and in their absence the mucosa( stomach’s walls) will be digested with food.

Therefore, elimination of prostaglandins under the influence of painkillers you take( often chaotic and without the actually need for them) increases the risk of ulcers and bleeding in the stomach, resulting in loss of iron from the body.

Moreover, a study conducted at the University of Zagreb( Croatia)has revealed that some analgesics are “clinging” to iron molecules, rendering them unusable for the body.

As you know, iron is an essential mineral for health, playing a vital role in the production of hemoglobin – a protein that carries oxygen throughout the body, feeding all tissues and organs.

Moreover, it has been found that analgesia reduce the activity of folic acid needed to keep under control of the homocysteine – an inflammatory compound that is related to the diseases of the heart. Risks analgesics make: heart disease, depression, diarrhea, mouth sores, anemia.

How to protect yourself: By supplementation with folic acid( 400 to 800 mg) taken once or twice daily, and by iron supplements( 20-30 mg), administered daily for up to three months( this time should not grow, because the supplement can become toxic).

Cholesterol lowering drugs( statins): statins act on the liver, where it blocks a specific enzyme that encourages formation of cholesterol. But with this enzyme, it inhibits the production of an important nutrient( CoQ10), involved in all aspects of energy production to supply the body including the muscular system.

Also, this nutrient is also a powerful antioxidant, able to penetrate any cell type, even those brain cells, to protect them from free radicals. In addition, zinc reserves in the body are affected too. Risks produced from birth control pills: insomnia, memory loss, irritability, heart disease, increased risk of cancer.

How to protect yourself: By taking probiotics( 10-40 billion CFU), between one and three per day on an empty stomach. Also, it is necessary to take zinc supplements( 15-25 mg per day) and vitamin B6( 50 mg once or twice daily).
